1, Product Description
The QG100x is a high voltage, ultra-low IQ, low dropout linear regulator designed to support battery-connected input voltages from 3V to 40V while delivering up to 300mA of maximum load current for always-on automotive applications
The wide input voltage range allows operation during cold-crank as well as start and stop conditions, in addition to load dump and transient protection up to 45V.
With a typical quiescent current of only 5uA at light load, the device is an optimal solution for powering always-on low-voltage devices
The device features robust integrated short-circuit, overcurrent, and thermal shutdown protections to prevent damage under extreme conditions.
The QG100x is designed to operate over the automotive Grade 1 ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, with a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. In addition, the device uses a thermally conductive package to achieve this.
