Launched by Southchip, POWERQUARK marks the first domestic solution integrating both primary side and secondary side. The product contains five technologies: self-developed fully integrated packaging technology, secondary controlled soft switching technology, secondary controlled active synchronous rectification technology, high-speed isolated digital communication technology and multi-standard fast charging protocol compatibility technology. With just one single chip, POWERQUARK can achieve the functions of primary side controller, high-voltage GaN, isolated communication, secondary SR controller, and protocol. The product can reduce charger volume by up to 30% compared to the previous solutions, and enable conversion efficiency higher than 95%.
