The XT6160 is the first AI-enabled, high-performance SATA SSD controller chip developed in China. It utilizes a RISC-V processor with an open-source architecture and integrates AI computing capabilities. The chip supports LDPC dynamic optimization, heterogeneous core sizes, IBMT smart block management, NANDXtra® reliability engine, and NANDSafe™ security engine among other core technologies. With features such as high security, high reliability, and autonomous control, it achieves sequential and random read/write performance of 550/520 MB/s and 98/50 KIOPS respectively, meeting the design requirements of the National Cryptography Administration's second-level commercial password specification.
