Smith’s testing and logistics hubs in Houston, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, and Singapore cover critical areas like quality management, counterfeit prevention, and environmental safety. Smith’s operations, purchasing, and sales worldwide are seamlessly integrated with the company’s global IT infrastructure, offering real-time, global inventory and logistics visibility. The company's expertise is backed by decades of market data, cutting-edge technology, and a systems-based approach to quality excellence. Smith has generated more than USD $12.9 billion in global revenue since 2019 and ranks eleventh among all global distributors.
Over the past year, Smith has achieved significant milestones and expansions. We introduced SmithTrade™, our online marketplace that provides a secure platform for buying, bidding on, and selling excess inventory. We also launched ELEVATE, our annual, internal technology conference, which has helped us to drive innovation within our business operations. Representatives from every department gathered at our Houston, Texas, headquarters to discuss our technology products and solutions and propose ideas for Smith's next generation of proprietary information technology. This collaborative effort has already spurred over 150 initiatives to enhance our IT infrastructure.

Celebrating our 40th anniversary marked a pivotal moment in Smith's history. Our growth over the last four decades is due to our continued investment in our infrastructure, processes, and people. With 900 employees across more than 20 locations worldwide, including nine locations in Asia, our growth emphasizes our commitment to developing our people and operations. Throughout the past year, we have had several promotions to executive roles in our Asia offices and established new sales offices in Tokyo, Detroit, and São Paolo alongside an operational hub in Singapore. These expansions, coupled with our multinational business outlook, enable Smith to support our customers’needs worldwide.

Also in the past year, we continued to grow our philanthropy efforts globally. Smith employees volunteered time and funds for various charitable causes worldwide. Initiatives ranged from tree planting in Shanghai's Changxing Island Country Park to community beautification projects in Seoul, Shenzhen, and Taipei. Our collective donations exceeded USD $225,000 to aid wildfire victims in Maui, Hawaii, and nearly USD $27,000 to support earthquake relief efforts in Syria and Turkey. Members of our Guadalajara, Mexico, office and Houston headquarters donated items and made meals to support those less fortunate and at risk. Smith actively encourages this participation, and our executive leadership team is committed to supporting our employees, their families, their communities, and the causes that are important to them.
As a pioneer in global semiconductor distribution, Smith combines 40 years of market expertise with innovative supply chain management solutions to help our partners keep their manufacturing lines active. Smith is dedicated to our continuous improvement efforts and plays a critical role in connecting customers to the parts they need to build the next wave of technological innovations. Smith leads the competition with over 25 industry certifications and accreditations, which recognize our rigorous processes and standards and offer even more stringent guidelines for providing consistently authentic and high-quality parts.
