Our product performance is at a leading level in the analog IC industry, particularly in the field of Power Management. We have outstanding technological expertise, and many of the core products have achieved international standards in terms of comprehensive performance. Moreover, Kiwi Instruments is one of the few domestic enterprises to achieve a technological breakthrough in AFE IC for multi-cell battery management system, with the products covering energy storage and battery system applications up to 110V.
We follow a sales model where distribution plays a primary role, supplemented by direct sales. With leading R&D capabilities, reliable product quality, and excellent customer service, we have brought our products into the supply chains of numerous industry-leading customers. These products’ application scope spans across various sectors, including Electronics & Lighting, Home Appliance, Security & Surveillance, Network Communication, Personal Electronics, Industry & Energy, among others. Some of our terminal customers are located in multiple countries in Europe and America. Therefore, we have gained significant industry influence and recognition globally, contributing to achieving sales of nearly 4 billion ICs and generating revenue nearly 600 million yuan in 2023 with a year-on-year increase of over 26%.
In 2023, the company launched a High Accuracy, Deep Dimming QR Buck LED backlight driver IC, which has
been successfully mass produced in applications such as smart TVs, intelligent conference systems, and indoor multimedia advertising systems with our one-stop IC solutions, which only a few domestic companies can provide.
Regarding motor driver products, we have achieved a new layout in this business segment through the acquisition of Chengdu Dong Xin Integrated Circuit and has vigorously promoted the R&D process. Currently, multiple single-phase BLDC motor drive control ICs have been mass-applied in applications such as the cooling system of CPU, GPU, PC, servers, and lithium energy storage. In 2023, we released the industry’s first hardware closed-loop BLDC motor drive control IC “KP90873X”, with built-in position sensors, targeting high-end BLDC cooling motor applications in data centers, industrial, and automotive fields.
With the strong market accumulation and the foundation of customer recognition for our power management IC overall solutions, we have focused on industrial, communication, and new energy customer groups such as home appliances, photovoltaic energy storage, and high-power supplies. By closely grasping customer needs, we have launched a series of signal chain ICs and successfully provided samples. Among them, operational amplifiers and USB & Type-C interface ICs have been mass-produced.
Based on the accumulated core customer resources over the years, we have taken AC-DC IC as the entry point and continuously added DC-DC, linear regulator, gate driver, operational amplifier, and sensor to form an overall solution. The products have been continuously delivering in multiple application fields such as fast charging, home appliances, building automation, security and fire protection, server/data center power supplies, and industry & energy. In 2023, the revenue we realized in the home appliances field grew by 58.04% year-on-year.
