Our product performance is at a leading level in the analog IC industry, particularly in the field of Power Management. We have outstanding technological expertise, and many of the core products have achieved international standards in terms of comprehensive performance. Moreover, Kiwi Instruments is one of the few domestic enterprises to achieve a technological breakthrough in AFE IC for multi-cell battery management system, with the products covering energy storage and battery system applications up to 110V.

In 2023, we launched KP90873, a single-phase, closed-loop DC brushless motor driver with integrated high sensitivity Hall effect sensor and built-in reverse voltage protection, which effectively tackled the original technical challenges in the field. This IC features the industry’s first hardware closed-loop speed feedback control technology and is equipped with a high-sensitivity Hall effect position sensor. It integrates adaptive field-oriented control technology for smooth switching, effectively suppressing voltage spikes during commutation of brushless motors. It has an ultra-wide PWM signal recognition range (0.1kHz~100kHz). Additionally, it incorporates various features such as soft start-up, lock-up protection, lock-up restart, speed feedback output, stall alarm, driver overheating protection, and current limiting protection.
KP90873 can effectively solve the pain points of non-linearity and large fluctuation of the speed of the micro cooling motor for customers. The minimum motor speed, stop speed control duty cycle, and motor PWM speed slope can be programmatically set by a few external components (only 3 resistors), which greatly improves product yield and reliability. It has a wide PWM signal recognition range, can be widely used in different fields of single-phase brushless cooling motor speed adjustment. It greatly reduces the running noise of brushed motors and perfectly suits quiet and efficient application scenarios. This IC can widely meet the requirements of single-phase DC brushless cooling fans and single-phase DC brushless motors in data centers, industrial and automotive fields, providing new options for global customers.
