The Associate, Customer Operations is a challenging and dynamic role, and filled with opportunities for growth. Who is responsible for working with field sales and the local customer operations team to establish, maintain and improve the business relationship between the customer and Maxim Corporate. This position has high visibility within all departments at Maxim and requires working closely with the various Business Units, Sales and Supply Chain to increase revenue at the customer. The Customer Operations Associate is required to add value at every level of transaction and communications, and act as an advocate for the customer within the factory and at the same time represent Maxim in all business transactions. The Customer Operations Associate gathers and disseminates information from the customer to all parties within Maxim and works closely with the field sales team to satisfy customer requests.

1. Tactical Service Support:

• Quoting related support (Price, MPQ, MOQ, Lead Time, stock availability)

• Daily backlog management: Purchase orders, change orders, shipment coordination, and reservation management.

• Develop strategies on how to support customers and expedite lines down situations within Manufacturing and Business Management.

• Daily interface with Distributors, manage Distributor follow Maxim procedure and policy, train Distributor to improve delivery scorecard performance.

• Lead all quality assurance requests: RMA processing, product change notification, device qualification requests, customer special requests and facility audit requests.

2. Customer Relationship Management

• Visit Customers and Build Relationship with customers, learn business and market trends from customers.

• Information dissemination: Analyze forecasts, track project status, monitor design opportunities, understand and implement customer goals and objectives, follow market trends, and control the customer’s perception of Maxim within the factory.

• Provide internal/external reports, present account business review to management when necessary.

3. Project/Program Management

• Lead global project or take role of regional DRI for a project

岗位职责

This role requires a candidate with strong technical ability in electronics and excellent communication skills. 

• Tasks will include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Providing technical support to customers, field applications engineers, and the company's sales staff for all released products, at their application-level issues.

• Participate with customers in the product definition process

• Develops and tests innovative circuit solutions for a variety of products as customer needs arise, including linear circuits, mixed-mode elements and switching power supplies. 

• Develops training modules, seminars, articles and conference papers. 

• Works with applications development engineers to design, build and rapidly prototype boards for reference designs and specific boards for use in assisting customers with applications problems to make our products known and viewed as the best-supported and easiest to use in the marketplace.

• Must be a self-starter, and given direction, work with little supervision to accomplish the tasks required. Must work well in a team environment with engineers from varied and diverse fields and backgrounds. The Applications Engineer must be personable and comfortable speaking and presenting to people at several different levels of technical expertise. Primary deliverables will be customer support by e-mail and telephone, generating application notes or articles describing approaches to solving demanding analog problems, based on simulation and/or rapid prototyping of circuits, boards, and systems.

• 5+ years full-time professional work experience related to PCB layout, prototyping and test

Engineers qualifying for this position will be responsible for supporting the development of ICs within one or more of our business units: Automotive, Cloud & Data, Mobile Solutions, Industrial & Medical, Micros & Security, Core Products, or Advanced Research & Development.

May include, but are not limited to:

• Providing technical support to SMB and key customers.

Specific Responsibilities will include some or all of these:

• New product evaluation. Hands--‐on lab work, both as an individual and with a team, is required to verify the performance of a specific circuit etc. Prepare evaluation reports and other supporting documentation. Understanding system and circuit design is essential.

• Development of application literature. Create data sheets, lab reports, and application notes that help the customer effectively use Maxim’s products.

• Application circuit development. There is frequent need to develop new application circuits and reference designs. These circuits address customer/market application problems and can be quite involved.

• Customer support tasks. Address problems associated with bringing Maxim’s products into volume production in the customer’s product. This could be described as doing whatever is necessary to secure a design win or sustain the business. Such tasks include, but are not confined to, direct customer support, securing samples, driving business management to improve delivery times, answering questions brought up by the business management group, helping out the failure analysis and quality groups when they have problems or questions.

• ASQ certified CQE, CQM, certified ISO/IATF auditor, Six Sigma certification is a plus.
